“Our approach to sustainability is about long-term thinking and achieving growth,” said Vivi Hollertt, Nouryon Chief Sustainability and Communications Officer. “We are delighted that Nouryon has again been recognized for our sustainability progress with the EcoVadis Gold rating and we will continue to partner with our employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to reduce impacts, mitigate risks, and harness growth opportunities.”
This most recent recognition of Nouryon’s sustainability progress follows the second year of Nouryon joining the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, in support of its universal principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. Additionally, in 2021, Nouryon voluntarily provided responses to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) climate questionnaire resulting in a B score for Climate Change.
In May 2022, Nouryon published its third annual Sustainability Report. More information on the company’s sustainability progress can be found in the full report, the ESG data sheet and dedicated Sustainability section.
