A 15-year agreement with Suzano, a world leading eucalyptus pulp producer. Under the long-term agreement, Nouryon will commission its sustainable Integrated Manufacturing Model for the new Suzano eucalyptus pulp mill in the municipality of Ribas do Rio Pardo, located in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.

Nouryon today reported full-year 2021 results with revenue of $4.9 billion, an increase of 17 percent year over year, driven by volume growth and pricing actions. Excluding impacts from foreign exchange and acquisitions, revenue grew 13 percent. Adjusted EBITDA increased 10 percent year over year, despite significant cost headwinds from raw materials, energy, and logistics. Volume was the primary driver of adjusted EBITDA growth, with additional contributions from pricing, cost improvement initiatives and foreign exchange, offset partially by cost pressures.

Nouryon introduces Expancel® HP92 microspheres, a new innovation that is breaking boundaries for thermoplastic microsphere fillers in high-pressure manufacturing processes for the automotive industry. Lightweight materials are in high demand from automotive manufacturers to meet increasingly strict emission regulations and strong consumer interest in fuel-efficient vehicles that do not compromise on performance or passenger comfort.
