Nouryon and Van Remmen UV Technology combine technologies to remove pharmaceutical pollution from waste water

Nouryon has joined forces with water treatment company Van Remmen UV Technology on a novel method to address the growing concern of pharmaceutical micropollutants in waste water. The process, which combines the Advanox™ ultraviolet (UV) treatment process from Van Remmen UV Technology and Nouryon’s MicrOx™ hydrogen peroxide, is expected to remove more than 90% of pharmaceutical residues.

Nouryon introduces more sustainable demulsifiers for the oilfield market

Nouryon has introduced a range of demulsifiers that provide oil producers with a more sustainable option to separate crude oil from natural gas and water. The Witbreak NEO range is inherently biodegradable in seawater and has a better cost-to-performance ratio compared to conventional demulsifiers currently available on the market.

Nouryon to expand ethylene amines offering with breakthrough technology; confirms plans for world-scale facility

Nouryon has inaugurated a demonstration plant in Stenungsund, Sweden to showcase a revolutionary and more sustainable technology platform to produce ethylene amines and their derivatives. Nouryon and Forge Nano to collaborate on ultra-thin coatings technology

Nouryon to increase its Expancel production capacity in China

Nouryon plans to increase production capacity of its Expancel® expandable microspheres in China. The increase will result from the relocation of its production site from Suzhou to Ningbo, China, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2021, and will further strengthen the company’s leading global position in expandable microspheres.

The new Expancel Extra Small Microsphere (XSMS) line brings additional benefits to specialty thin coatings applications, such as improving the printability of thermal paper labels, tickets and receipts, as well as filling and upgrading genuine or artificial leather without sacrificing volume.
