The process, which combines the Advanox™ ultraviolet (UV) treatment process from Van Remmen UV Technology and Nouryon’s MicrOx™ hydrogen peroxide, is expected to remove more than 90% of pharmaceutical residues.

Nouryon has inaugurated a demonstration plant in Stenungsund, Sweden to showcase a revolutionary and more sustainable technology platform to produce ethylene amines and their derivatives. Nouryon plans to increase production capacity of its Expancel® expandable microspheres in China.
